Today we threw Cassie a baby shower. Mercy was in charge of decorations, assisted by Grandma.
We served ham and gruyere mini quiche, banana bread, oreo truffles, raspberry and lemon macarons, and yogurt parfaits. I was very pleased with how everything turned out. It was especially fun to serve on the new charcuterie boards Matthew recently made.
We had 17 women/girls in attendance, and I think everyone had a nice time. I'm especially grateful to have had Naomi here to help with the prep this week. Karen surprised Cassie last night, so it was an added bonus to have her here as well. We sure love Cassie!
After everyone had gone, Cassie spent some time jumping on the trampoline. Now that her mom is here and the shower is over, she is ready for this baby to come!
