It snowed on Monday. It did't really stick, but big fluffy flakes fell for several hours. Normally, I might have found it charming, but cold, wet weather + home school is not my favorite combination. The kids definitely had a lot of pent up energy and a lack of focus that day which made our school hours rough. We joked that New Mexico decided it was done with 2020 and wanted to skip straight to Christmas. The winter weather didn't last long, and we were back to blue skies and sunshine by Wednesday.
Tuesday was Cassie's birthday. Beto made spring rolls for dinner and I made a double chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and dark chocolate ganache frosting. Both were delicious.
Matthew got a new resin 3D printer this week and got one of his filament printers working again, so printing and painting mini's has become the family's most recent obsession.
