More than almost anything, I love being a mom!
Mercy threw up every 45 minutes all night last night, so neither of us got much sleep. Matthew got up around 7:00 am and took over parenting duties so I could stay in bed a bit longer. I got up at 9:00 and enjoyed looking through the cards and little gifts the kids made me. Along with my new mixer, Matthew got me a new battery for my phone. We video chatted with Grandma Naomi and Grandpa Kip, didn't do anything fancy for breakfast, and then Matthew stayed home with Mercy while I went to church with the boys. After church I took a nice long nap while Matthew worked on cleaning up his side of our room. Beto and Cassie made Bolivian food for dinner and afterwards we played a board game. It was day filled with love but not much fanfare - just like motherhood itself. It was just as it should be!
