Another Full Friday

While I got Hyrum off to school, Matthew ran to the store for some supplies for our upcoming Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet. As soon as he got home, we loaded Abraham, Mercy, and Dad's bike into the truck and drove up to Performance. He wanted to try out a shorter stem for his handle bars, and while he was looking into that, Abraham and Mercy had a great time riding around the store on balance bikes. We were hoping to have enough time to do our monthly run to the scout shop while we were in the neighborhood, but we did not, so we had to drive down past our house to take Abraham to school then return North to pick up awards for Pack Meeting. Next we stopped by the Sandia Credit Union so I could do my monthly weigh in for health benefit points, then we went to Chipotle to use our coupons for free burritos. It was a morning full of driving around and our lunch was rather unimpressive, but it was fun to be out with Dad.

While out to pick up Abraham, Matthew stopped by the Brown's house to borrow their Weehoo bike trailer. We are thinking of purchasing one but wanted to try it out first. They only had time to ride up and down the street a couple times, but the kids' initial assessment was a resounding "Wee Hoo!"

I was able to get in a bike ride and shower, then rushed off to teach a lesson with the Sister Missionaries. I got home in time to feed everyone a hodge podge dinner and to spend a while with the kids before putting them to bed and heading out once more to meet a sister I visit teach for dessert.
