Saturday Snapshots

This morning I drove with Hannah down to our Stake Women's conference in Los Lunas. At 2:00 pm we all went to over to Noah's house for his birthday party. Noah is Hyrum's best friend at school. It was a classic Latino party with a house full of anties and abuelos and cousins all eating and talking. It was fun to be there and I think the kids had a really great time.

After the party we came home and ate quesadillas while watching the Minon movie. Once the kids were in bed, Matthew and I watched Sherlock then went to bed at an entirely reasonable hour.

I've heard that seven can be a very trying year with kids as they are extra tempted by the adversary as they prepare for baptism. I think reading the BOM will be a great added strength in that preparation. I too have started to read the BOM with Warren each night as his reading homework. I don't look forward to possible personality difficulties with this upcoming year. But I am excited to see how he prepares and makes the choice for baptism.
