Living Deliberately

Recipes
I didn't do anything new this month. I did have another go at peach cobbler, which I haven't seemed to get quite right since we moved here, and it turned out the best so far.

Food Storage
Kroger had it's case lot sale this month, so I stocked back up on corn, green beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, and peanut butter. I also got a case of mandarin oranges and about 20 boxes of Life cereal.

Projects
I'm almost finished with the baby quilt, but it's not done just yet, so I can't count it for the month of September. Matthew and I have both been working hard at loosing weight and getting in shape. I'm down about a pound and a half, which isn't much, but it's a start. I have also started bicycle training in earnest. We got an indoor trainer to put my bike on, so on Monday's and Wednesday's I do high intensity interval training, which isn't much fun but I can already see an increase in strength and decrease in breathlessness. I do core strengthening exercises on Tuesday and Thursday and a long ride on Friday or Saturday. Sunday I rest.
