Another Week Gone By

This week Matthew has been working on the hall floor upstairs. He's got the pine flooring down, the transitions in, and will be ready to sand tomorrow. With any luck, we'll be able to stain on Monday then finish up the base boards. In an ideal world, painting will start happening the week after next. Amazon and the NSA do not want to hire him. No other news on the job front.

On Monday, we had home made ice cream for our family night treat. On Tuesday, Abraham and Mercy played with water in a friend's back yard for Moms & Tots while Hyrum was at preschool. Wednesday we got kicked out of the library because Mercy wasn't wearing shoes. We did get signed up for the summer reading program though, so our trip there wasn't a total waste. Yesterday I milled 25 lbs. of wheat and froze it in convenient sized bags, and we became the lucky renters of the last unit available at the local storage facility. This morning we cashed in on some free smoothie coupons at McDonald's, I got a few boxes ready for long term storage, and finished edging the sidewalk portion of the front lawn.
