We've gotten a lot of snow, but the persistent sub zero temperatures have kept us primarily holed up inside. I think perhaps Mother Nature is testing the patience of every mother in the Midwest. We've found ways to keep us reasonably occupied though:
picnics in a cave
hand made Iron Man armor
pajamas and popcorn
tablet time at the library
learning words
rollerskating at the church
and lots of baking
Despite my attempts at finding new and exciting things to do, I often find one or both of the boys wrapped up in blankets napping near a vent. I don't blame them... there's something about -12 degrees that makes me tired too.
