Gallbladder free is the way to be!

Life post-gallbladder* is treating me very well. I was kinda woozy and a bit nauseous for the first couple days, and pretty sore for about a week, but it's been 10 days now and I feel pretty darn great. I've been able to eat everything I've tried and as long as I don't sneeze or laugh too hard, I feel pretty close to normal. It'll take a while for my abs to be fully functional again, but I don't have a single complaint or bad thing to say about my experience or situation. I am nothing but grateful.

My mom played a key role in the success of the whole End Gallbladderitis campaign, and we are thankful for her generous contributions. On her last day here I did a little photo shoot with her and the kids.

*The biopsy report: Received in formalin labeled "Julianne Kress" and "gallbladder" is an 8.3 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm intact gallbladder with dark green to green-tan wrinkled to roughened serosa. Within the lumen there are numerous yellow-tan friable choleliths present measuring up to 1.2 cm in greatest dimension. The mucosa is dark green to green-tan and velvety to slightly roughened. The wall is pliable and ranges from 1 mm to 2 mm in thickness. Representative sections are submitted in one cassette.
