Hard Workin' Shirkin'

Matthew has spent the majority of the last two weeks working from home. While keeping up on his emails, tuning into his online meetings, and running analysis on the computer, he's been putting in long hours moving the home improvement projects along. He spent a couple days cleaning and organizing the garage so there'd be room to paint the kitchen cupboard doors. We also started on the master bedroom: mudding, skim coating, and priming the walls, painting the ceiling, and installing the molding. 

Lest one think I've been sitting around twiddling my thumbs, I've started on the arduous task of purging, organizing, and packing. We don't know when or where we'll be moving, but we know it's going to happen and we've both felt an urgency in our need to start preparing. The kids and I have also gone to the park and taken a few walks, as the weather has turned the lovely shade of absolutely perfect.  

The boys have been particularly grumpy this week, despite my efforts of sticking to a more structured schedule and giving them more focused attention. Mercy, on the other hand, has been delightful as always. We just pulled this activity mat from the attic and it was an instant hit.
