We went to Oiatenon Fort today with our friends the Hebdon's. It was about a 10 minute drive and had a number of things to look at, like a replica of the fort, a little blacksmith's shop, a water pump, some wigwam's, and a monument. There was also a big field, several picnic tables, and access to the Wabash River. The boys enjoyed climbing on the wood piles and collecting sticks.
Hyrum and Madden
Hyrum carried this huge branch around for quite a while. He even rode it half way across the field like a horse.
Abraham, too, has a love for sticks, though he is more prone to find one perfect stick to play with. Hyrum is a little less particular and likes to collect as many as he can carry.
Proof that I do, in fact, exist.
