Happy Birthday Braums

Grandma and Grandpa J and Great Grandpa L got into town Sunday evening, so we had a little party to celebrate Abraham's birthday on Monday. We had homemade pizza and root beer, and enjoyed Birthday Blueberry Muffins for dessert.

Perhaps second child syndrome is setting in early, but we have so many toys already and Christmas is just around the corner, so Braums got just two presents: a little car that lights up when you shake it and a Melissa & Doug block train. He knew what do with the blocks right away, without any assistance or explanation. I was impressed. Though he had no idea what to do with the gift before it was unwrapped.

I love Hyrum's face in this photo. He was so distraught that the present wasn't for him.

Of course, boxes at this age are always the hit of any party.

Hello:
Melissa and Doug toys are the BEST. When I taught preschool Sunday School, I got some M&D toys for the church. Maddie Grace has a number of great Melissa and Doug toys. Have you seen the triangular crayons for toddlers/early preschoolers? They are AWESOME.
