I'm going just a bit crazy. With nearly every morning scheduled and the house still in a semi-permanent state of chaos, I think perhaps I've got my plate about as full as it can get. I'm practicing the mother's fine art of balancing everything, and today I'm grateful for those rare afternoons that even though there's a million things to do, somehow everything seems able to wait until tomorrow. Instead of putting away laundry or washing dishes or even cooking a warm meal, I spent the afternoon just hanging out with this sweet guy, no multi-tasking, no distractions. Just me and the Mook.
I'll go throw today's diapers in the wash, brush my teeth, and chat with Matthew for a bit. We'll go to bed at a reasonable hour, and tomorrow start a new day fresh and ready for work. My boys keep me busy, but they also slow me down, which is often sorely needed. What a perfect plan.

Good for you! All too often we let all the demands on our time prevent us from noticing and doing the essential stuff. Dishes and diapers can wait, but babys grow up all too fast.
I don't know that diapers can really wait...
