The belly

In response to a number of requests, here is a picture of the belly. It's a bit bigger than usual due to a really full bladder and a late lunch, and I don't know how to correct red-eye on Matthew's computer, but for whatever it's worth, this is what I look like these days.


We haven't had our official ultra-sound with the doctor yet, but I happen to work in a clinic that does sonograms. Typically they are done on hearts at our place, but we do fetal echoes two days a week and last week one of the appointments didn't show. It was a slow day so they brought me back and I got to take my first look at wee baby Kress. It was being modest, so we still don't have a gender, but we do know it has two arms, at least one leg, and four working chambers in it's heart. It was so amazing to see a real little person inside me, with tiny little body parts and a developing personality. What a miracle!
