We celebrated Memorial Day by having breakfast over at the Jeb Brown's house. He provided breakfast burritos, and we brought crepes with toppings. There were a couple other families there as well, so we had a real feast. It's been a while since our families have gotten together, and it was nice to catch up.
Hyrum chose to skip the last "day" of school, but Abraham and Mercy went.
On Wednesday Riker came over to play for a couple of hours while Mindy and I went to a body pump class at the gym. In the afternoon everyone dispersed to various friends' houses. That evening we went bowling.
We did lots of chores Thursday morning, and Alora and Alyssa came over in the afternoon. All three kids had youth/primary activities in the evening, then Naomi flew in that night.
We went bowling on Friday, and had pizza and movie night.
We went bowling again Saturday morning then came home for delicious hamburgers. We started our fast after our late lunch, then spent the rest of the day rather relaxed.
Other tidbits of note: we published a YouTube video about screen gap in the 3D printer. We ended up refilming the whole thing in one evening, and the editing went pretty quick, so it was a fairly low key project. Also, I felt inspired to try some new recipes, so this week I made mujadara, a Mediterranean dish with lentils and caramelized onions.
