For dinner on Sunday, the kids helped me make strawberry shortcake. Hyrum finished the scarf he was crocheting and was able to give it to the Monson's before they left for Idaho. We also finished watching The Absentminded Professor. Matthew loved the movie when he was young, and our kids thought it was hillarious.
On Monday morning I went with Mindy to Costco in search of fun lights for the porch and a 25 lb bag of unbleached flour. I didn't find the lights, but I did finally get some flour. In the evening Matthew started digging holes for the footings for the pavilion in the backyard, and I finished the path to the dog run. Mabel was not at all sure about the work going on and would pounce and growl at the shovel as Matthew dug. She was also very wary of the holes, especially after getting stuck in one.

On Tuesday morning the Barrios' dropped by to pick up some mail and visit for a few minutes. That evening, Matthew and I went to Home Depot for footing supplies, then came home and leveled the cement tubes.
On Wednesday morning I ran errands (Tractor Supply, Smith's, and Walmart) then came home and made custard and baked brownies. In the evening we went to the Brown's. This time they fed us dinner before archery.
On Thursday morning we gave Mabel her booster vaccine. In the middle of the day, Matthew poured cement and set the braces for the pavilion footings. Abraham and Mercy took advantage of the hose not being connected to the garden drip system and got into their swimsuits to jump on the trampoline while I sprayed them with water. Hyrum opted instead to read in the hammock. I took dinner to a family in the ward around 5 pm, then the Jolley's came over for a semi socially distanced BBQ.
We spent this morning getting ready for Grants, then left for the farm after lunch.
