Hyrum's Ordination

Today Hyrum was sustained during sacrament meeting, then after church he and Kaden were ordained Deacons in the Aaronic Priesthood. Bishop and Kyle Brown were in the circle with Matthew. It all was fairly simple and matter of fact, but this was an important step in Hyrum's eternal progression. He is a good boy and has desires to be righteous and obedient. He tries to be mindful of others and wants to serve and be helpful. He is diligent in reading his scriptures daily and actively participates during family scripture study and in his Sunday School classes. He's excited to participate in his quorum and looks forward to going to the Temple to do baptisms. He still has a lot to learn and figure out, but he has a good heart and righteous desires, which is exactly what the Lord asks of him.
