Mercy asks nearly every day if we can do a sewing project. She's taken to it remarkably quick and sews a straighter line that any of the girls and young women I've worked with in Activity Days or girls camp. I have to help her with the instructions, as she's not a strong enough reader yet, and I do most of the cutting and ironing, but she does all the designing and machine work. This girl has got innate talent and I can't wait to see what she does with it in the future!
