Mercy has developed an interest in toys, has become a very distracted nurser, and is anxiously working on sitting by herself.

Hyrum has been pretty good about making his bed these days, and is always asking if Mercy can sleep in his room with him. He loved it when Dad tucked them in together, but was pretty bummed when I wouldn't let her stay the night.

Since Hyrum wakes up with the sun and Abraham gave up his afternoon nap, it is not uncommon to find the boys fast asleep around 4 or 5 in the afternoon. While it makes for a slightly more difficult bedtime, it sure is nice to make dinner in peace. 

With all the work going on and the gallbladder pains that render me somewhat useless for a while after meals, the TV has unfortunately babysat the kids a little more often than I'd like. I could pretend this isn't the case, but someday Mercy will come to me overwhelmed as ask how I did it all and I'll pull out this picture and tell her that sometimes I didn't.
