We didn't really do much for Independence Day this year. Matthew spent most of the day at school and I did housework. Dad did come home early and he and Hyrum did some fire crackers and got things ready for a show once it got dark. We had yummy sandwiches on ciabatta bread, watched Kung Fu Panda 2, put Abraham (who had fallen asleep during the movie) to bed, and around 10pm did fireworks.
My two youngest were not big fans of the firecrackers. Abraham was especially mortified. Mercy didn't actually mind so much as long as she was being held.
