April was a tough month for Abraham. He and I had never been apart more than a few hours and he's much more of a mama's boy than Hyrum, so me disappearing for a whole week was hard on him. Plus, there was a lot of work being done on the house, confining he and his brother primarily to the play room. They were even sleeping in there for several days, making nap time and bed time more difficult. He's done remarkably well with baby Mercy once we got home though... much better than I anticipated. He's continued to be super grumpy over the past couple weeks however, which I'm attributing to a growth spurt, allergies, and the stomach bug he got which caused him to throw up copious amounts of vomit Sunday night. At least I hope his bad mood is a response to not feeling well, rather than a new trend in behavior.
On a lighter note, tooty bumble bee is the new phrase of choice around here. Who knows where he came up with it, but Abraham started saying it and now it's all the rage. All three boys use the phrase to taunt each other, to describe anything remotely gross, or just for kicks and giggles. It's all very silly and does a remarkably good job of keeping the mood of our home a bit more jovial.
