The weather has be just divine and Hyrum has taken every opportunity to enjoy as much time outside as possible. He spent all morning "working" on the dismantled jungle gym in the back yard.
One of Hyrum's favorite things is eating lunch outside. Today we had "cheesy tortillas" with beans. He likes his food served to him in sandwich form so he can open it and eat it from the inside out. This afternoon's process went like this: Open the quesadilla, eat each bean individually, pick off and eat the cheese, then eat the tortilla starting from the middle and eating towards the corners. It took him 53 minutes to finish... no wonder he looks so tired.
I came downstairs from putting Abraham to sleep and found Hyrum doing the dishes. He was making more of a mess than actually cleaning anything, but he was genuinely trying to be helpful and I love that about him.
Back outside, this time with brother.

53 minutes! That made me laugh! Don't you love all the little things that are so important to these tiny folks we're raising? It's so cute. And it's so good you're writing them down!
Katelyn's been helping with the dishes lately, too. When she's done at the table, she really likes to go put her dishes in the dishwasher. Um...LOVING IT!
