One perfect moment

I feel as though perhaps I've lived my whole life for this moment: with a fresh diaper and a full belly, I held my sweet baby for a while before putting him down for the night. I felt his sleepy weight in my arms as his little head rested on my chest and his tiny hand grasped my sleeve. Every pain, every fear, every imperfection of my past, present, and future seemed to melt away and everything was right. All of eternity seemed wrapped up in that one perfect moment, and by the grace of a tender God, He saw fit to make it mine.

Julianne--it's Marisa from your old singles ward. This post ALMOST makes me want to have kids (by the way, your little man is ADORABLE!). Tender moments make life worth livin'. I see you two are off to grad school. Congrats! I'd love to add you to my blog too--but it's private. You'll have to email me your address so I can send you an invite. marisajean@connect2.com

Jules, that is so poetic...you should be a writer, you know, in your spare time :)
