I can't believe May has come and gone. Spring never really made it to Indiana this year. We had maybe two days of perfect weather, and the rest were either cold and rainy or hot enough to make one sweat (which in my opinion may still be nice, but does not qualify as perfect). The ever changing weather has adversely affected most of the family. Abraham spent a majority of the month sick, with a snotty nose and diarrhea. Matthew spent a few days under the weather, and Mercy was congested on and off for several weeks. We've been able to spend more time outside though, which makes everyone happier, and as a general rule spirits are fairly high around here. Matthew's been working hard in the garage and has made a lot of molding. My mood is improving, though I still feel like I'm in survival mode most of the time. June will be an exciting month with family in town and lots of traveling, so perhaps the change in scenery will finally get me out of my slump.
Mercy is the one making most of the changes around here. She's spending more time awake...
and sleeping better...
She continues to be her cute cuddly self and I am honestly loving every moment of her in my arms. I'm really trying to savor her smallness and enjoy the tender moments we have together.
