Matthew and I have been learning about flash photography and the composition of photos focusing on light and shadows. Matthew took a bunch of shots of Hyrum fresh out of the bath and I thought it might be fun to play around with some of them in our editing program.
Please... no more pictures!
This last photo is a fair example of my default post-processing. It's amazing how some thoughtful cropping and the adjustment of tone curves, shadows, and highlights can completely change the feel of a shot. I'm really grateful we have the camera equipment that we do and that I have a creative outlet which also documents the life of my family.

I LOVE black and white photography. Back in the day, I developed my own film and printed my own pictures.
