The Fort of Doom

Last weekend Matthew built Hyrum a Fort.

It's got three rooms, two tunnels, and connects to the TeePee/tunnel/tent that we already had set up. The center forms a little "courtyard" for the tub of toys and there are windows for Hijo to open and close. Hyrum loves to bring books and toys into it and hide from me. As soon as breakfast is over, he runs straight for the fort and waits for Dad to chase him. And as soon as Matthew gets home from school each day he too heads for the play room with a new plan for getting through the maze without hurting himself or the structure. I'm not sure which one of the boys is enjoying it more!

Very cute. I love the father child interaction, especially with boys.

That's awesome! Your little boy's face looks a lot like you in that second picture.

Lucky boy to have such a fun daddy - not to mention an AWESOME mommy!

A fort, I haven't thought of Adam making a huge fort for the boys like that....looks fun, but I love hearing the patter of feet as the boys run to greet Adam, and then they spend the rest of the evening playing...boys are so cute!
