Allergies and rice cereal

I've never had allergies before, and I may not have them now, but my symptoms are an awful lot like Matthew's seasonal attacks and I am not a fan. I could just have a little head cold or some sinus trouble, but either way, I look forward to breathing through my nose again some day.

On a more exciting note, Hyrum tried his first tastes of cereal yesterday. He wasn't entirely against the concept, but didn't seem all that excited about it either. He tried a few bites then fussed until we gave him a bottle. I think perhaps we made it a bit too runny. We'll try again today to see if he really is ready, and if not, wait another week or two. If food isn't in the immediate future, I think rolling over is. He hasn't gone from stomach to back yet, but he is making circles in his crib at night. I put him to bed with his head pointing East, and in the morning it's pointing South or even West. I'm not sure I'm ready for a mobile baby!

In other news, I think we've picked out where we are going to live in Indiana. It's a manufactured home in a little community a few miles from Purdue. It's a bigger place than I thought we'd end up in, and has some nice amenities I hadn't anticipated, so all in all I'm pretty excited. It does, perhaps, mean that we will have to move a bit sooner than originally planned. I can't believe we'll be gone in a few weeks... there's so much to do!

Hello:
I like the picture at the top of your blog and the latest picture of Baby H. Is your hair getting darker - or is it wet in your most recent picture? If your hair gets much darker, mine will be lighter than yours.

It's so fun to see them roll and squirm around. We need to get together this week...are you buying the home or just renting? Either way, I'm glad you found something you like! Yay!

Oh Jules! I have to see you before you leave. Did you know I haven't even seen Hyrum!?!?!? That can't stay that way. I have to meet the little guy and see you again before you move! Here are the days that are good for me: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday(sometimes). What is best for you? Times? Lemme know and we WILL work something out! MUAH! (p.s. did you know that Sami got married? And is pregnant? EEkk!)

Hello again:
Yesterday, I made spinach dip in a bread bowl for my spiritual formation group at school. Much more tasty than rice cereal moistened with formula.

So ... I googled it ... and Purdue is a mere 14 hour, 45 minute drive from my house! :o) We're going to be neighbors!! Love the updates about sweet Hyrum.
