I have often found Valentine's Day to be highly overrated, but this year my sweet husband made it really great. We spent most of the day with family, but Matthew took Hyrum and I home around 6pm and made us a fantastic dinner. He went to the London Market, a little shop that sells food and other novelty items from England, and picked up some curry and two of my favorite treats: a Lion candy bar and caramel McVities. We ate chicken curry with rice and drank sparkling cider, then we played a video game for a while and went to bed. I loved spending the evening at home with my boys and thought it was the very best Valentine's day ever!
I received a sewing machine for Christmas and my first project was to make Matthew a vest. My wonderful mother-in-law is an accomplished seamstress and helped me out. I wanted to post a picture of my handsome husband wearing his valentine's present, but we also recently got a new fancy pants camera and the photos of him are in raw form which is not a form I'm able to upload. As soon as I figure out how to convert to jpg I will post some more pictures.

Hyrum is such a sweet baby! I was so glad I got to meet him. What a cutie! I hope your sewing project went well, I've decided to make Easter Jammies for all of us...(clothes scare me, I figure I can't screw that up to bad) we'll see how it goes!! It was good to see you , you looked beautiful! Motherhood did you well.
